On February 6, 2023, local time in the United States, the FCC officially released the FCC 22-84 document, which came into effect on the date of release. This document mainly aims to prevent the United States from security threats by strengthening equipment authorization, and it restricts the contents and devices on the Covered List.

According to Article 2.911(d)(7) of KDB 986446, the applicant must designate a contact person located in the United States as the agent of the applicant, regardless of whether the applicant is a domestic entity or a foreign entity. An applicant located in the United States can designate themselves as the agent for serving legal documents.
